Tell us how you improve the lives of others through your work...

Cheyenne is honored to serve as President of the FemCity® community throughout the US and Canada, with plans to expand globally. Originally, she launched FemCity Philadelphia, the first northeastern chapter of FemCity, which quickly became a flagship community of business women and now boasts over 1,000 local members, corporate sponsors, and a lively social media community. Previously, she built a successful career in philanthropy and was responsible for national-scale fundraising for the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network. There, she built fundraising programs with top corporate brands and individual philanthropists to benefit America’s youth. In 2013, Cheyenne managed the first-ever US-based private fundraising event for the American Friends of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. What she enjoys most is empowering women through business and philanthropy. She's an experienced speaker and event host with two signature presentations: HOW TO BECOME A NETWORKING POWERHOUSE: How to position yourself as the most valuable person in the room. Great for business chambers and membership groups and corporate affinity programs. HOW TO MAKE REMARKABLE THINGS HAPPEN: A motivational-style presentation especially designed for small business, entrepreneurial groups, and nonprofit organizations – for those who want to achieve big results but often have limited resources to do so.

What FEM really inspired you to be where you are?

She's especially inspired by self-made business leaders. As a child of humble beginnings who grew up on food stamps and social service programs, she's no stranger to challenges, obstacles, and roadblocks. She learned early on how far a solid work ethic, belief in your goals, and a desire to keep learning can take you. And when combined with an emphasis on building and nurturing strong relationships in business and life, anything is possible.
