I am incredibly passionate about the work that I do to help FEMS come together through supporting arms, welcoming environment and uplifting spirit. My personal goal is to help millions of women commit to helping other women step into their greatness. Our purpose is to serve others, make community better and to be there to improve the lives of one another.
When I was a young girl, inspiration was achieved through Daisy's character on Dukes of Hazards. Why? Because she was kind of brown skin like me and had brown hair. As the years went by, I found inspiration in other women through the community of teachers, family members and those I read about in magazines and books. The FEMS that shifted the world, left their mark in a grand way and served community to their very core were the ones that shifted my vision and path. Joan Barnes, Founder of Gymboree, Maimah Karmo Founder of Tiger Lily, Rene Frigo Founder of Lucini Oil are some of my personal inspirations. They created business with grace, purpose and serve to help others do the same.
