FemCity International
to empower women globally and shape entrepreneurship across borders
Today, as many individuals seek opportunities for growth, support, unity, and inspiration, FemCity stands out as a beacon of empowerment. Founded by Violette de Ayala in 2009, FemCity started as a local Women’s networking community in Miami, providing women with a space to connect, uplift each other, and pursue their goals. Over the years, FemCity has grown exponentially, reaching far beyond its Miami origins and local impact. It has evolved into a global movement, connecting women from all walks of life, and celebrates plans for its upcoming kickoff event for its newest FemCity International virtual chapter in late August 2023.
FemCity is designed for all women entrepreneurs who want to grow personally, professionally, and make an impact while building lasting relationships within a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive community. The FemCity International community chapter aims to transcend borders through worldwide collaboration to foster global unity and to mutually understand and share obstacles and ways to overcome them, concurrently advancing women in business around the world.
“I am most grateful for the women that show up, the relationships I see built, the collaborations, and how much I learn and grow from the incredible women that are attracted to FemCity, ” says FemCity Collective Director and Global Ambassador, Lynn Pelzer.
The initial spark which ignited FemCity’s evolution was interest from women across the United States who saw the impact of FemCity's Miami events and sought the same in their communities, spurring the establishment of local chapters nationwide, and online offerings of virtual classes, curricula, and resources accessible to women globally.
FemCity Founder, Violette de Ayala shares, “The pandemic further accelerated FemCity's expansion, leading to the establishment of a non-profit arm offering scholarships to women and supporting their Girls Program. We contribute to grow in new ways with our new International Community and also the launch of our Corporate Program this Fall.”

“This community will open up the opportunity to explore truly elevating women outside our reach. We are better together. The more variety of ideas, experiences, and perspectives, the better for everyone,” says Pelzer as she shares her thoughts on FemCity.
FemCity International has come a long way since its inception as a local community in Miami. With a vision of empowering, supporting, and uplifting women, FemCity International is not just a community; it's a catalyst for change, creativity, and endless possibilities.
