Deanna Asencio // Go All In!

Tell us in a few sentences how your brand helps others?

I have owned a brick & mortar alternative health care practice for 20 years, as well as been a health coach and business mentor for 6 years with a direct sales company. I have created a reputation for health as well as business building.

What was your initial inspiration that got you to where you are today?
A desire to be financially secure and to be able to help others do the same.

When you started your most recent path, did you ever envision that you would be where you are now?

Nope!

Was there ever a time that things didn't fall into place, struggles or challenges? What were they and how did you get past it and grow from the experience?
Many times. I have had businesses fail, but as long as I learn from it and fail forward, that’s a life lesson. To get to the top you cannot be afraid to fail. I am a big proponent of goal setting. When I have missed a goal I set, I don’t consider that a failure, but I keep contending and usually hit it the next month.

What was the biggest lesson you learned during this journey?
To never give up. I wouldn’t consider myself a dreamer when I started, I came from small town Iowa, but knew I wanted more out of life! The life you want is out there if you keep fighting for it.

What would you tell a FEM that is struggling in her business and feeling like it's too difficult?
Nothing worth having is ever easy. It will take grit, tenacity and overcoming obstacles, but it WILL be worth it!

What continues to inspire you to keep on growing your business?
2 things: showing our 2 teen daughters that you can do anything you set your mind to and work for. And the desire to help others on the same path as me to achieve their goals and create the best life for themselves and their family.

Final advice for those thinking of starting a business or looking to grow their current business?
GO ALL IN!! And you can be all in with part time hours. But if you work your business like a hobby it will pay like a hobby. Work it like a business and it will pay like a business.
