Wilma Davidson, Ed.D.

Tell us in a few sentences how your brand helps others?

If someone suffers from page or stage fright, I help turn them into more confident and competent communicators!

.

What was your initial inspiration that got you to where you are today?

Many years ago I was an instructor teaching teachers across the country how to teach writing better. It dawned on me that I could teach people already in the workplace to be better writers and presenters. So I moved into corporate classrooms as well!

When you started your most recent path, did you ever envision that you would be where you are now?

Yes, my dream was to help anyone build their confidence and competence in communicating with others--when on stage or on the page.

Was there ever a time that things didn't fall into place, struggles or challenges? What were they and how did you get past it and grow from the experience?

Life is made of challenges and how we respond to them. I've been fortunate that I have the resolve the overcome whatever life throws at me and to learn from it: from an unsustainable, early business partnership to breast cancer.

What was the biggest lesson you learned during this journey?

To belief in myself, the power of prayer, and being positive.

What would you tell a FEM that is struggling in her business and feeling like it's too difficult?

Look at ways to simplify it and also ways to remove stressors around it.

What continues to inspire you to keep on growing your business?

What keeps inspiring me is the feeling that I have much to give still. I like helping others feel good about themselves.

Final advice for those thinking of starting a business or looking to grow their current business?

Dream, be optimistic while at the same time be realistic.
